Ah, I have been such a slacking blogger lately. Two of my best friends went back to college so we partied a lot last week, which resulted in me completely losing my voice, along with a lot of money, and probably brain cells. I also have been addicted to MSNBC DNC coverage. How spectacular was Obama's speech? Totally blew me away WOW!
But ughhh, I think Palin is a disgrace to the woman gender, and if I have to hear one more time about her moose-hunting I will probably start throwing things at my flat screen.
On a happy note:
Ok, technically not totally homemade because the dough is this awesome pizza dough (which I am ridiculously challenged in rolling out well) from Trader Joe's. The top one is a garlic herb crust then I rubbed with olive oil and flour and topped with homemade sauce. I blended organic fresh & canned tomatoes with a lot of dark leafy greens, oregano, salt, pepper and basil. Veggies are mushrooms artichokes and olives.
The second crust is whole wheat with the same sauce with greens, artichokes, olives, and mushrooms. I added the sauce to this later because the first one I made wasn't as crispy as I had hoped. Both also had Litelife ground vegan sausage.
What are all you fabulous vegans doing on this long holiday weekend?
