There was an abundance of vegan foods made by my whole non-veg family. Sure beats those non-family country-club Boca Raton Thanksgivings with friends I had during college. And I mean that.
Ok the goods! My aunts and uncles made VEGAN pumpkins rolls, roasted Brussels sprouts, beets/squash combo, cranberry sauce, and my cousin Sam even got Tofutti ice cream! Whoo hoo!
I brought to the table:
Bourbon/maple/Earth-Balanced sweet potatoes (which I think you could probably get drunk off since I didn't cook down the alcohol, oops HELLO Cabin Fever Liquor) Maple butternut squash, roasted green beans, chocolate chip pumpkin muffins (yes, I will post that recipe asap) AND my new recipe Wild Rice stuffing with soy chorizo, brown rice bread and veggies. Recipe coming soon since I totally made it up the day before while drinking a bottle of wine. Once I recall everything I did, I'll post. BUT many people said it was their favorite dish! HELLO success! I didn't even notice the non-vegan foods.
There was also an abundance of fresh fruits, hummus, olives, nuts, crackers etc etc for nibbling. The whole family had a great time, and I think enough food and wine for days to come.
A part of the vegan goods at the table, which was separated toward the end by a block of butter so you know when you got to foods that were not veg-friendly, how cool is that!?
I would live off these pumpkin rolls if I could...
Now this is MY DADS PLATE! ALL VEGAN! He was so proud.
My bro and I
And really there is no Thanksgiving complete without a crazy Wednesday night before with friends
I hope all you lovely bloggies had an amazing, delicious, and love-filled holiday! (I promise those two recipes in my next post! Be ready because I think you'll all be swooning over my wild rice stuffing in Dec :)

YAY for awesome vegan foods made by non-vegans! That's so cool that they cooked things that everybody could eat!
I love the pictures, especially the one where you're kissing your friend like you mean it! :P
I'll be waiting for those recipes!
Pumpkin rolls? Gimme gimme gimme! I really love Thanksgiving (aside from the horrific historical basis for it) - good food, lots of wine, and a 4 day weekend? Awesome!
What a lovely feast! And, in the words of Sly Stone, what a meaningful "Family Affair." Thanksgiving rocks!!
Wow...what a spread, looks absolutely delicious. Impressive of so many vegan choices. Good day to celebrate with family.
Such an awesome spread. Hopefully time with that side of the family helped make up for the suckiness on your mom's side.
i'm glad you had an awesome holiday. seeing omnis get down on vegan chow brings tears to my eyes. i'm so happy that you were happy! happy fever, catch it!
Woah!
All of that food looks fantastic...

Wow, what a fantastic feast! Those rolls are really beautiful. And I will definitely be checking back for your recipes.
I know whose house I'll be going to for Thanksgiving next year! Save me a seat... and roll!
What a wonderful Thanksgiving meal! My holiday was similar with vegan and non-vegan options. Everyone was happy. My mom made a great vegan mushroom barley stuffing that originated from a Weight Watchers recipe.
But more importantly, I have to have the Pumpkin roll recipe! Will you share?
that looks like a lovely spread. It definitely looks like you had a great time with the fam!
Love this post! Wonderful pictures... wow that food looks awesome, and everyone looks so bubbly!
What an amazing post! Your dad is so awesome for eating all vegan! It seems like you have a nice, welcoming family in general. They are too cool for making so many vegan dishes. And I share your feeling on the pumpkin rolls, even just looking at them -- they look like heaven in a basket.
Extra pumpkin rolls? Ok, it's settled then; I am definitely coming next year for Thanksgiving!
Love your blog!
Looks like an awesome TG feast! Those rolls are beautiful.
mega props to your dad! Woohoo, way to go!
