MoFo Soup & Weekend Goodness

Unfortunately, this amazingly tasty soup/chili/stew (we couldn't really decide what it was) doesn't photograph too hot. But omg look at what was mixed in, and you'll know just how scrumptious this combo was.

Stir-fry up some Garlic and Onions, Hot Peppers and  Salsa in Olive Oil while Veg Broth is getting hot. We added in Organic Dandelion Leek Dark Miso to the broth (lovee this stuff.) It adds a great flavor and is good for your digestive system.  :)

The GOOD STUFF includes: TJ's Soy Chorizo, Red Potatos, Kidney Beans, Celery, Green Beans, Mushrooms, Tri-Colored Peppers, and Carrots.

Many Spices including Fresh Rosemary, Cinnamon, Salt, Pepper, Ginger and a bit of  Organic Mayple Syrup ( brings out the chile flavor of the chorizo) to taste.
Toast up some Tuscan Pane bread with Earth Balance and that's a great meal!

Soo good, the large batch lasted only 2 days between 3 people.

On to the weekend: Friday night was my parents anniversary, we went to Judies in Amherst, MA where I had this awesome rice pancakes/black bean/portobello/veggie vegan conncoction they made without the cheese. SOO good!

The Parentals ;)

Saturday tailgating at Umass, I met someone (Ryan, on the right) who is Veg and his brother is a Vegan! I was rocking my Vegan sweatshirt till it got warm, and underneath had a World Peace Tour Thermal, and what people you can meet! Ryan and I are gonna do lunch soon :)

Haha, this is at the Obama Benefit, a music promoter in town gave me this comic he made comparing McFuck's facial expressions identically to Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes

The last awesome band that performed at the Benefit.

My girlfriend Anna and I have a habit at staying out in Northampton bars wayy past closing time...

And what happens Sunday afternoon when I get home from the weekend. Looks at my little pup sleeping with me, and I am not a cone-head, just wrapped up in my Vegan sweatshirt :)

Hope all you MoFos had a great weekend!

sounds like a really fun weekend. No wonder you needed to sack out on the couch.

I think the soup looks great.
